I will be happy to guide you on this (not easy but very rewarding) journey!
A typically lesson starts with 20-30 min discussion - a stimulating occasion to practice your oral, work on your pronunciation and listening, using grammar and vocabulary learned.
We then go through some activities such as writing short paragraphs, reading texts and dialogues... We also do role plays, to be ready for real life situations!
"Why are lessons on Google Doc & Zoom?"
This way, we can both easily type! During 1hr, I will keep typing. I type what you don't understand. I type the sentences you said with some corrections. Anytime you have a question, I will copy paste a table with the explanation/grammar. We will use texts, pictures, listening... Everything will be online, on the same document! You can review it in the taxi, in the MTR, in the ferry, on the beach...

When you choose your teacher
❊ Choose an experienced teacher. Someone who can explain you the grammar, adjust to your level, use a proper textbook with a lot of audio, prepare an interesting lesson tailor-made every week and homework with tailored vocabulary lists.
❊ And of course, always make sure you have a good feeling with the teacher! :)
(I always recommend to have trial lessons with 2 or 3 teachers before making your choice)
