French Private Classes for Teenagers
❊ A chance to talk!
Your child learns French at school and he/she doesn't have much chance to talk during the class?
During the lesson, we will practice a lot discussion (on topics learned at school), doing for instance some role plays, or preparing intensively for oral exams - some exams, like IGCSE oral, can be quite stressful & challenging for students!
❊ Time to learn!
At school, students will write done a lot of vocabulary on their notebook or online, but most of the time they will never properly learn it. During our lessons, we will work on the vocabulary together and also use the learning app 'Quizlet', with many activities to help them memorize in the long term. For exams such as ib (HL but also SL) or HKDSE, the students must learn very advanced vocabulary on very different topics!
❊ Let's improve school grades
I am here to make your child practice what he/she has been studying in class, to help with homework when they need, but most importantly, to prepare him/her for the school assessments. Good grades at school will determine your child future. I know kids, specially here in HK, already have a lot of pressure. I am here to help them learn how to achieve good grades, by being organized and working regularly.
❊ More than tutoring
I offer tutoring and support with school learning. But not only. When they student has a solid level at school, we do some more advanced French together, preparing for future exams or university. I follow a textbook adapted to the student's age and level. And I prepare most of my students for the internationally recognized exam called 'DELF'.
❊ Which schools is your child going to?
Through the years, I had the opportunity to teach students with many different levels and backgrounds, going to a lot of different schools in Hong Kong (public & international). The teachers don't have the same expectations, teaching methods, exams system... But no worries, I am quite familiar with them :)
